The mechanics of the aromatic therapies:

The Aromatherapy Healthcare aromatherapy blends are composed by plant essences dissolved into base or carrier oils. The essential oils are regarded as the ultimate plant product. The essential oils provide each plant with their attributes, properties and characteristic smell (hence the term "aroma"). These substances are extracted from plant leafs, flowers, roots, berries, bark, peel, etc. The aim is to use these beneficial herbal attributes to balance & overcome personal ailments (hence the term "aroma- therapy" is used).

The molecular structure of the essential oils extracted from plants is so fine that once the blends are applied to our skin these curative substances penetrate the skin and reach the blood circulation spreading their balancing and beneficial effect throughout the body.
